USA Swim Team - Wellesley Tryouts
Interested swimmers should attend tryouts on 2/23, 2/24/ and 2/26 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Longfellow Health & Tennis Club in Wellesley, MA.
To register for tryouts, your swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards backstroke and freestyle to tryout. This branch of the team will be limited to 8 swimmers attending practice at our Wellesley location due to limited pool space.
Swimmers will be notified if they made the team on Friday 2/27. Swimmers who make the team will start practicing on 3/2/26 and will run on the same schedule as our USA Swim Team in Waltham. Click below for more information!

Meet Coach Ruston
Coaching Experience: Coach Ruston is one of our most experienced swim coaches! He coached high school swimming and diving at the varsity level for 16 years and also coached swim team at the Boys and Girls Club for five years!
Coaching Style: Coach Ruston excels as differentiating his coaching style based on the needs and level of his swimmers. All throughout he likes to focus on relationship-building and the mechanics!
Superpower: Through his years of experience coaching, Coach Ruston has developed the ability to connect with students quickly. He can also recognize what needs to be corrected and knows exactly how to do it!
Fun fact: Coach Ruston has met Michael Phelps and dined with his sister and mother!
